This is the deck soap for anyone who wants to give their deck more than just a quick clean.
KLARA deck soap is a superfatted linseed oil soap with beeswax, developed for nordic climates and wood that has to withstand rain, sun, dirt, frost and sudden changes in weather. It cleans gently, helps re-fat the wood and leaves the deck with a softer, more cared-for feel.
With a soap content of over 30%, you get a concentrated deck soap that works effectively in the wood fibres. Dirt is lifted away without the wood needing harsh treatment, while the soap adds nourishing fats with every application.
Cleaning and care in the same treatment
Many cleaning products are made simply to remove dirt. KLARA deck soap is made to both clean and care for the wood.
When you soap your deck, you work with the wood rather than against it. The soap helps dissolve dirt on the surface while leaving a caring feel in the wood. With regular use, the deck has better conditions to age evenly, feel smoother underfoot and become easier to keep fresh over time.
Based on linseed oil, rapeseed oil and beeswax
The base of KLARA deck soap is linseed oil - a classic raw material with a long tradition in wood and surface treatment. The linseed oil contributes to the caring effect and makes the soap especially suitable for wood that needs more than ordinary cleaning.
We have also added rapeseed oil to give the soap a smooth working feel. It helps the product spread evenly over the surface and makes it easy to use for both deep cleaning and regular maintenance.
What truly sets KLARA apart from ordinary linseed oil soap is the beeswax. The beeswax contributes to a more resistant wood surface and helps the deck withstand moisture, dirt and drying out over time - without losing the natural feel of the wood.

How to use KLARA deck soap
Soak the deck thoroughly with a garden hose until the wood is fully saturated. Mix the deck soap in warm water and work section by section. Brush along the grain, allow it to work for a minute without drying, then rinse thoroughly.

Once the deck is clean and completely dry, apply the main treatment to restore its soft, matte finish and make it easier to maintain over time. Use a richer, overfatted soap mixture, apply along the grain and allow it to dry in. Do not rinse.
