The kit includes 3 liters of deck soap based on linseed oil and beeswax, formulated to clean while caring for the wood. The linseed oil works within the surface and helps prevent drying, while the beeswax contributes to a more cohesive and durable finish over time. The soap is suitable for both deep cleaning and main treatment.

The 300 mm stiff wide deck brush is the most versatile brush in the range and is used on larger surfaces where you want to work efficiently with consistent pressure. The stiff detail brush is used around edges, corners, posts and other details.

During the main treatment, the soap is applied using the scrubbing cloth, placed over the brush. This allows the solution to be distributed evenly while the brush provides control and flexibility. The method lets the soap work into the wood without raising the grain, resulting in a calmer and more even finish when the soap is left to dry in.

All mixing is done in the sturdy bucket, designed specifically for use with deck soap and wide brushes.

Together, the kit creates a method that works with the wood rather than against it. The result is a clean deck, more even aging and a surface that stays attractive longer – with less wear over time.

KLARA linseed oil deck soap with beeswax – 1 liter
An overfatted deck soap developed for Nordic climates and modern decking – developed and manufactured in Sweden using Swedish raw materials. It cleans gently without raising the wood grain and reconditions the surface so the wood retains its natural smooth feel and long-term resilience.

The foundation is linseed oil – a classic raw material with a long tradition in wood care. To complement its properties, we also add Swedish rapeseed oil, which improves penetration, ensures more even distribution and contributes to a balanced result during both deep cleaning and ongoing maintenance.

What makes this deck soap unique is the addition of beeswax. It provides a natural protective effect that remains in the surface longer, making the deck more resistant to moisture, dirt and drying – without altering the structure or feel of the wood. (Read more about beeswax)

Extra wide stiff deck brush (300 mm)
A generously wide deck brush with stiff bristles, designed to make cleaning noticeably faster. With a full 300 mm working width, each stroke covers more surface area, saving both time and effort when cleaning decking.

The brush is designed to be dipped directly into the bucket and scrub effectively without damaging the wood grain. The stiff bristles lift dirt, pollen and surface buildup, leaving a cleaner and more even result that lasts longer.

Particularly suitable for spring cleaning and heavier dirt accumulation.

Levang – extra wide brush (300 mm), soft
An extra wide soft foam for finishing and caring soaping. With a 300 mm working width, the soap is applied quickly and evenly over larger surfaces, making the treatment smoother and giving a more uniform result.
The soft bristle pattern is designed for occasions when the soap should remain and work into the surface, or when you want to distribute the soap without roughening the wood. The bristles follow the structure of the wood and give a calm, even finish.
Particularly suitable for main treatment and on surfaces where the end result is more important than heavy cleaning. A natural complement to the stiff broom in a complete method.

Scrubbing cloth selected for use with deck soap
This cloth has been chosen to work effectively with traditional deck soaping. During product development, we explored the possibility of sourcing a Swedish-made cloth. However, there is currently no domestic production of scrubbing cloths in Sweden.

If there had been, we would have chosen it. Instead, we selected the cloth that best meets our requirements, manufactured abroad under controlled and responsible conditions. For us, function, durability and real long-term use matter more than a label.

Heavy waffle-weave cotton cloth designed for effective scrubbing and drying. The structured surface provides high absorbency and good grip, making it easy to work with even on larger areas.

The cloth works equally well for general cleaning and wet areas, and can also be used as a shower or bath mat. A durable everyday cloth made to be used, washed and used again.

Origin and sustainability

The cloth is made from natural materials and selected with a focus on long service life and practical sustainability. It contains no synthetic fibers and is designed to withstand frequent use and repeated washing without losing function.

Wash at 60°C as needed. The cloth becomes softer and more flexible with use.
